Laura Lio was born in Argentina and lives in Spain since 1990. She studied Fine Arts at the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes “Ernesto de la Cárcova” in Buenos Aires, having a Degree in Engraving by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in 1997. She also has a Research Master at Universidad de Castilla La Mancha in 2011.

She dedicates to sculpture 25 years ago for both exhibitions spaces public spaces. She also makes installations and specific projects which spacely and poetically dialogue with the architecture and memory of the selected place. On the other hand, she has developed a huge creation on Works on paper, drawing, graphic arts and artist books
