La línea entre lo controlado, no racionalizado, no verbalizado y corporalizado y lo que se estructura, se ordena, se verbaliza y es incorpóreo. ¿Pensar el arte? ¿Vivir la filosofía? Su trabajo está entre el intersticio que el arte práctica y la filosofía racionaliza para acercarse al Otro. El Otro con mayúscula. Por ahora, sus investigaciones están centradas en indagar sobre acciones como el estar ahí, el escuchar y escribir como formas de vivir la vida. La incertidumbre como práctica de indagatoria. Ello se ha decantado a través de la experiencia del viajar, recorrer y caminar distintos tipos de entornos naturales junto también con los entornos reproducidos o creados por el ser humano. En consecuencia las preguntas por la naturaleza, el sentido del paisaje, la palabra, el silencio, el vacío, la vulnerabilidad, lo frágil, lo indeleble, la alteridad, la precariedad, el límite, la soledad y el cuerpo en todos sus niveles; personal y social están presentes en su trabajo.

 

Su obra es un ejercicio reflexivo materializado.

 

Utiliza la imagen fotográfica, materiales extraídos de la naturaleza, el dibujo expandido para intervenir espacios que puedan modificar comportamientos cotidianos, el video, el sonido, la pintura, instalaciones, la escritura y su propio cuerpo.

 

Tejidos de agua

 

El agua es un elemento simbólico con muchos significados, evoca diversas ciclos necesarios para la vida, por ejemplo, desde varias cosmovisiones indígenas en Colombia el ciclo del agua es el elemento característico para pensar el territorio, pues todo se origina en el agua y vuelve hacia el agua. El agua es vida porque desde su origen en las cabeceras y a través de su paso por los ríos ordenó el territorio hasta abrirse hacia el mar, y esta volvía permanentemente por aire en forma de nubes. Pero también, el agua es muerte, pues si llovía fuertemente los derrumbes de montañas e inundaciones evidenciaban su naturaleza también destructiva. Desde esta perspectiva el agua está íntimamente ligada con las dinámicas del territorio y un mismo elemento comprende los cambios y las transformaciones de los cuales los seres humanos somos objeto y muchas veces no controlamos. Por tanto, en el agua, la vida y la muerte no están separadas, y el agua es un eje articulador de su forma de vida, símbolo de transformación.

 

Este proyecto tiene un antecedente fundamental y es proyecto de investigación creación “Transformare” que desarrollé durante el último año y medio, indagando sobre el significado de la muerte entendida como aquellas transformaciones que pueden involucrar indeterminado grupo de sucesos que los humanos no controlamos y que simplemente nos sucede o padecemos lentamente en nuestras vidas.

Este proyecto tiene un antecedente fundamental y es proyecto de investigación creación Transformare que desarrollé durante el último año y medio, indagando sobre el significado de la muerte entendida como aquellas transformaciones que pueden involucrar indeterminado grupo de sucesos que los humanos no controlamos y que simplemente nos sucede o padecemos lentamente en nuestras vidas.

Tejidos de agua

 

Water is a symbolic element with many meanings, it evokes various cycles necessary for life, for example, from various indigenous worldviews in Colombia, the water cycle is the characteristic element to think about the territory, since everything originates in water and returns to Water.
