Residency Program

The self-managed residency program R.A.R.O. emerged in Buenos Aires at the beginning of 2014 with the aim of creating spaces for reflection, production, and research for national and international artists.

How do our residencies work?

The self-managed residency program R.A.R.O. Madrid presents itself as a shared space, intended to promote collaborative experimentation and dialogue among participants with a strong interest in dynamic exchange. The synergies among artists that characterize our residencies generate mutual influences, renew ideas, and bring new approaches to individual artistic production.

During an intensive period of 4 weeks, residents have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a supportive environment with constant exchange with the artistic and curatorial team of R.A.R.O. The stay unfolds between artistic practice, action, and reflection, all influenced by the vibrant artistic environment of the city of Madrid.
