It is a French 18th century style house, which with the help of the participants we are putting together a progressive restoration to make a strong community of local culture workers. It is a workplace for artists, which over time will form collective and individual exhibitions, a backroom space for artists to offer workshops and classes.
The atelier is run by Antonella Agesta & Dani Raggio
Antonella Agesta was born in Temperley, in June 1993.
She has a degree in Visual Arts from UNA (National University of Arts). She carried out a Work Clinic with Pablo Siquier, Ramiro Oller, a drawing workshop with Eduardo Stupía at the Torcuato Di Tella University and construction clinic by Ana Gallardo. She participated in the 2017 Artists Program of the Torcuato Di Tella University, coordinated by teachers Santiago García Navarro and Carlos Huffman. She was part of the Visual Arts selection of the 2017 Biennale of Young Art.
In 2018, she was selected for the Itaú Visual Arts Award. During this same year she participated in "El ritual de las cuatro paredes" show together with Mayra Vom at the Matienzo Cultural Center, with text by Silvina Yesari.
At the end of 2018 she made an exhibition in collaboration with Carlos Huffmann called “Asuntos internos”.
In 2019 she made “Antosofías” at Selvanegra Gallery curated by Bárbara Golubicki, she participated in two collective exhibitions “Negra” in Munar curated by Feda Baeza and “Era mi lujo” at Festival Laboratory curated by Bárbara Golubicki. During this year she was a beneficiary of the Creation Scholarship of the FNA (National Fund for the Arts). She was selected to participate in the 73rd National Salon of Rosario.
In 2020 she was selected to participate in the Andreani Prize and the Banco Central de Pintura Prize.
In 2021 she made an installation of paintings called "Eclipse" within the Kilometro 1 program of the Museum of Modern Art of Buenos Aires with the curatorship of Lucrecia Palacios and Violeta González

She has attended pottery classes since 2002.
In 2018 she graduated from UNA with a Bachelor of Visual Arts and during 2019 she did the PACGES Postgraduate course at UBA. She carried out a work clinic with Pablo Siquier and Gonzalo Silva (2017), with Florencia Rodríguez Giles and Tomás Espina (2018) within the framework of the annual program of ArtistasxArtistas of Fundación El Mirador, and clinic in charge of Veronica Gomez (2020) . She participated in some group shows at the CCSM, at the Franklin Rawson Museum Drawing Biennial (2019) and was recently selected for the Banco Central Award 2022.
Installations
Baro Estudios has 14 individual workshops for artists from Buenos Aires, and a large workshop/classroom to give classes or talks. It is accessed by stairs and has two floors, two bathrooms and a terrace with plants and a grill. In addition to having a forklift.
