Mi trabajo lo constituye la pintura como principal elemento, donde mi interés es visibilizar a través de un lenguaje pictórico propio mi manera de ver el entorno. Estamos en un presente donde todo va muy rápido, la tecnología a hecho de las suyas, por eso siento la necesidad de convertir lo que mis ojos ven a un soporte físico, tangible que se pueda apreciar presencialmente.

 

Volver a Buenos Aires y desconectarme de Santiago. El pasado Mayo tuve la oportunidad

de visitarlo y enriquecerme de lo que conocí pero la instancia fue demasiado corta que todo quedo en un pestañar de ojos, me dejo con la necesidad y hambre de volver. Y por cosas de la vida una publicidad de Instagram llego a mi. Todo lo que vi y recorrí era buen material de inspiración para futuras pinturas, es muy caótico como cambia todo solo atravesando una cordillera, la cultura del arte, la gente, hasta ir al supermercado es distinto. Me interesa volver y conectar con otros artista, generar experiencia y pintura nuevas. Además saber el que se dice de Chile estando al otro lado de la cordillera.

Como Artista egresada en pandemia que recién este año esta viviendo el como se intenta vivir del arte en lo presencial, generando contacto social con otros artistas y no solo viéndolo a través de una pantalla que si de mucho sirvió en tiempos de distanciamiento y cuarentenas. Seria bastante enriquecedor llevar a cabo este proyecto.

My work consists mainly of painting, where my interest lies in making my perspective of the environment visible through my own pictorial language. We live in a fast-paced present where technology has had its way, which is why I feel the need to translate what my eyes see into a physical, tangible medium that can be appreciated in person.

 

To return to Buenos Aires and disconnect from Santiago. Last May, I had the opportunity to visit and enrich myself with what I experienced, but the instance was too short, and it all passed in the blink of an eye, leaving me with the need and hunger to go back. And by the quirks of life, an Instagram advertisement reached me. Everything I saw and explored was excellent material for future paintings. It's chaotic how everything changes just by crossing a mountain range—the art culture, the people, even going to the supermarket is different. I am interested in returning and connecting with other artists, generating new experiences and paintings. Additionally, I want to know what is being said about Chile from the other side of the mountain range.

 

As an artist who graduated during the pandemic and is now experiencing how to make a living from art in person, generating social contact with other artists instead of just seeing them through a screen (which served its purpose during times of distance and quarantine), it would be truly enriching to carry out this project.
