Self-Management Workshop | 5th Edition Micro-Residency: A Isla

During the 5th Edition of our Micro-Residency: A Isla, Lina Ángel, general director of the R.A.R.O. Residencies program, cultural manager, and political scientist, offered a space in the self-management workshop to share tools with the participating artists. The objective was to conceive their profession as a management project, beyond the individual creative process, and to reflect on the art circuits that surround their practices, work, and interests.
Through mappings, diagrams, charts, references, and anecdotes, the residents positioned themselves within the art world network and collectively sought strategies to understand and inhabit this habitat: recognizing their context, their opportunities, and the complexities of the place they occupy in the circuit.
Soon we will share more processes and activities carried out during this edition.
