Applications
The R.A.R.O. Bogotá program is aimed at a wide range of profiles, including artists with or without academic training, self-taught creators, emerging or professional artists of any background, and researchers working in any artistic medium. Likewise, the open call extends to curators, cultural and social managers, human rights defenders, and anyone interested in developing projects linked to art and culture.
Currently, we offer three residency formats: Macro-Residency, Micro-Residency, and Micro-Residency A Isla. To apply for any of these modalities, it is necessary to complete the application form, which is the only official means to apply.
Applications for Macro-Residency and Micro-Residency.
Applicants must complete the form with:
-
Personal and contact information.
-
Selection of the studios from our network where they wish to work.
-
A single PDF document that unifies the following: personal and contact information, CV (including formal and informal training, exhibitions, awards, and previous residencies), artist statement, portfolio with high-quality images of previous work, and the detailed project to be carried out, specifying the residency duration and selected studios.
Before submitting, we recommend reading the terms and conditions of the open call and completing the remaining fields in the form. Those wishing to apply for scholarships granted by R.A.R.O. must attach a letter of intent in PDF format (maximum one page) within the same form.
Applications for Micro-Residency A Isla.
The process requires completing the form with:

Once the application is submitted, the selection phase will begin, led by the R.A.R.O. Bogotá selection committee. The committee will determine the candidate's acceptance and communicate the results via email to the address provided during the process.
